Rocky Gerung: Jokowi Said Small Problems But Why Was He Taken To Headquarters

Political observer Rocky Gerung has fulfilled the call for clarification regarding the alleged case of hate speech against President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at Bareskrim Polri, today. He stated that he would face the legal process of the case. "I'm here, meaning I want to follow," Rocky told reporters, Wednesday, September 6. However, Rocky brought up Jokowi's statement that he did not care about the matter. But it was reported to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. "Mr. Jokowi said that the problem was a small problem, why was he taken to the headquarters," he said. Originally, Rocky Gerung was scheduled to provide information on Monday, September 4. However, he could not attend because of teaching activities. "I asked to postpone it, it should have been Monday but I gave a lecture at the Islamic Boarding School in Sukabumi so it was impossible to block it. I asked Bareskrim for help to postpone today," said Rocky Gerung. Reports against Rocky Gerung began with podcast content broadcast on YouTube Refly Harun. Rocky Gerung's statement at the event was considered to contain elements of insulting Jokowi and unethical. Some of Rocky Gerung's words or statements that are considered to contain hate speech are; "Once Jokowi loses his power he becomes an ordinary person, no one cares later. But Jokowi's ambition is to maintain his legacy. He offers IKN, pacing to the coalition, to find clarity on his fate," said Rocky in the video.
