SEMARANG - Operation Zebra Candi Year 2023 will start today. It is hoped that the operation for two weeks until September 17 can reduce the number of traffic accidents.

"Hopefully it will reduce traffic accidents, then the fatality of the impact of the accident so that people can be orderly for traffic," said Deputy Head of Magelang Police AKBP Roman Smaradhana Elhaj after the 2023 Zebra Candi Operations Forces Ceremony at the Magelang Police Station, Monday, September 4, confiscated by Antara.

The Deputy Chief of Police stated that the number of personnel involved in the Operation Zebra Candi activity was 63 people, which also involved the TNI and local government.

Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Magelang Regency Adi Waryanto added, the Magelang Regency Government supports Operation Zebra Candi 2023 activities by participating in deploying personnel from the transportation service and Satpol PP.

The Regional Secretary appealed to the public to always increase vigilance and be careful in traffic.

"People must increase their vigilance, including being orderly in traffic anywhere, including on village or village roads, they must wear helmets," he said.
