JAKARTA - A young man using a motorbike was caught on a CCTV camera stealing a number of women's underwear at a rented house on Jalan Haji Marhusen, Lubang Buaya, Cipayung District, East Jakarta. The perpetrator looked panicked when his actions became known to residents.

The theft occurred during the day when the area was quiet. Not a single resident passed by the location. However, the perpetrator's actions were recorded by CCTV cameras at the scene.

Dhedy, the husband of the victim, the owner of the women's underwear, said the incident occurred when the perpetrator came alone to his house. He learned from CCTV footage.

"The motorbike came, CCTV was caught on the top floor. So at first he looked at the door, then suddenly went inside through the fence. Jumped," he told reporters, Monday, September 4.

The theft of underwear was discovered by residents who lived on the top floor. However, the perpetrator immediately fled from the motorbike.

"Then it wasn't long before, the residents on the ground were caught. After being found out, he immediately rushed out while carrying my wife's underwear," he said.

Based on the duration of the CCTV footage, the perpetrator took less than 1 minute to steal the victim's underwear. As a result of the incident, Dhedy admitted that his party was worried about the theft.

In this theft, the perpetrator managed to steal several women's underwear that were in the sun. However, the victim has not reported the theft to the police officers.

"Not reporting to the police," he said.
