The joint TNI AD team secured 5 homemade firearms and a number of ammunition and documents from one of the KKB headquarters, Matoa area, Alguru Village, Krepkuri District, Nduga Regency, Papua Mountains.

Launching the news Between, Sunday, September 3, Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih Major General Izak Pangemanan confirmed that the joint team of the Taipur Team Task Force, the Battalion Task Force MR 411, and the Elang Task Force led by Major Inf. Cosmos secured 5 assembled rifles along with ammunition and KKB documents at Matoa headquarters, Friday, September 1.

In addition, in the gun battle, three members of the KKB, namely Army Tabuni as Danyon Alururu, Change Gwijangge, and another person who had not been identified.

The Military Commander explained that the KKB had attacked and killed three civilians at Batu Boundary some time ago.

"It is written in the documents that were secured," said TNI Major General Izak Pangemanan.

The headquarters that was secured was one of the KKB headquarters from Egianus Kogoya. However, during the raid there were only members.

The Pangdam emphasized that the TNI and Polri will try to provide a sense of security to the community, especially from KKB security disturbances.

So far, according to him, the KKB has always been under the guise that the victims who were killed were members of intelligence assigned to the area, even though they really work as drivers, motorcycle taxi drivers, or shopkeepers.

"KKB action cannot be allowed so that the TNI/Polri will take firm action against members of the group," said TNI Major General Izak Pangemanan.
