BOGOR - The Bogor Regency Government, West Java, through the local Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) distributed 970.000 liters of clean water to people in areas experiencing drought.

Acting Head of BPBD Bogor Regency Asep Sulaeman said 970.000 liters of clean water were distributed to 58 villages/kelurahan in 17 sub-districts from May 2, 2023 to August 21, 2023.

The clean water assistance was sent by officers using tank cars belonging to the Bogor Regency BPBD and the Regional Public Company for Drinking Water Tirta Kahuripan.

"Clean water assistance is for people who have difficulty getting clean water to meet their needs due to drought," Asep said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 22.

The Bogor Regency BPBD recorded that there were around 97,403 people from 29,404 families who experienced a clean water crisis due to drought in 58 villages/kelurahan.
