The suspects were arrested by the police for less than 24 hours by the Unit V Resmob Team of the Lhokseumawe Police Satreskrim.

"The suspects are a group of teenage motorcycle gangs who have been arrested several times for carrying sharp weapons and disturbing residents," he said.

The suspects were charged with Article 368 in conjunction with Article 354 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 80 paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection in conjunction with Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 11 of 2012 concerning the juvenile criminal justice system with a maximum penalty of 12 years in prison.
