The Attorney General's Office Committed To Complete The TIP Case And Protect Victims

The Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Ketut Sumedana, emphasized that his institution is committed to thoroughly investigating the criminal case of trafficking in persons (TPPO) which was President Joko Widodo's instruction. He gave an example of one of the cases abroad handled by the Attorney General's Office at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Bangkok successfully provided legal assistance to six Indonesian citizens (WNI). The six Indonesian citizens are Eric Febrian, Raindy Wijaya, Hendriant Tritrahadi, Chelsy Alviana, Andrian, and Andrean Faust who are victims of TPPO who have been detained in Tokyo Rai Province, Thailand after being illegally dispatched from Tachilek, Myanmar.
