DENPASAR - Bali Regional Police said one Japanese citizen who fell while playing riding fish in the Tanjung Benoa water game tourist area, Badung, Bali, was declared dead.
Head of the Public Relations Division of the Bali Police, Kombes Jansen Avitus Panjaitan, said that the Japanese citizen who died was Kikuchi Satoshi (60) while his son Kikuchi Haruki (15) who was involved in the ride suffered minor injuries on the left temple.
According to Jansen's statement, the incident occurred on Friday (18/8) at around 10:00 WITA in Tanjung Benoa, precisely in front of the Tanjung Benoa Grand Mirrage Environmental Hotel Beach, South Kuta District, Badung, Bali.

Jansen explained that on Friday (18/8) before 10:00 WITA, a family of Japanese foreigners consisting of five people were flying fish at Water Sport Bali Coral, Tanjung Benoa, Bali.
During the first session, according to witness Zaini, who was a speedboat driver with Wahyu, the instructor, they departed to drive the boat to pull the flying fish with two of the victim's children for five minutes and managed to land safely.
