Russia Will Show Su-57 Fighter Jets with New Guided Weapons at Army Show 2023 Next Week

JAKARTA - If nothing changes, the Russian arms manufacturer will display its fifth-generation Sukhoi Su-57 and Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jets that have received a technology update at the Army 2023 exhibition.

"At the Army 2023 exhibition, manufacturers will demonstrate the latest options available from the Russian defense industry: the 3-STS Akhmat armored vehicle, Su-57 and Su-35 fighter jets with the latest guided weapons, artillery ammunition, and the Raptor sniper system," Rosoboronexport said to the media, as reported by TASS on August 12.

One thing that is interesting about the Sukhoi Su-57 update this time is the existence of sophisticated digital communication features in the air, which allows improving the quality of data transmission.

"The Su-57 advanced fighter jet communications package was developed by Polyot Company NPP Ruselectronics and implemented on board," said the press service of Ruselectronics.

The Army 2023 international military-technical forum will be held at the Patriot congress and exhibition center, at the Alabino training ground and the Kubinka airfield from August 14 to 20. More than 60 countries have confirmed the participation of their official military delegations.

Meanwhile, the Sukhoi Su-57 is a fifth-generation Russian multi-function fighter jet designed to destroy all types of air, ground, and surface targets.

The aircraft has supersonic cruising speed, in-flight weapons, radio absorption equipment ("stealth" technology), and the latest in aircraft equipment.

Intellectualization of the Su-57 system allows this aircraft to take over some of the pilot's functions, including testing and preparing for the use of weapons.
