JAKARTA - The trial of the defendants Mario Dandy Satriyo (20) and Shane Lukas (19) in the case of the molestation David Ozora was canceled today. The trial was held again on Tuesday, August 15 next week at the South Jakarta District Court. David's father, Jonathan Latumahina, admitted that he was very disappointed with the cancellation of the trial for the demands of the two defendants. "What is certain is disappointment. Because a few minutes ago when asked by friends, the case trial took too long. Yesterday we found out that today the demands from TikTok were from public relations. Well, it turns out that the prosecutor is not ready," said Jonathan at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, August 10. Jonathan said, there was indeed a slight oddity regarding the cancellation of the prosecution trial. The reason is that when he arrived at the court, he did not find the attorney who accompanied the defendant. Whereas at the previous trial, the attorneys were always complete to accompany Mario and Shane Lukas. "This is the law in this country, if it is not guarded, it will be like this," said Jonathan. The Public Prosecutor at the South Jakarta District Court revealed the reason for the postponement of the prosecution trial. The prosecutor said that his party needed more time to perfect the demands. "It is true that we read out the demands today, but because we are still improving our demands, we ask for time until next Wednesday (Tuesday) next week. Today is not ready because there is still improvement," said the prosecutor. The implementation of the trial agenda for reading the demands today was carried out after a series of stages of examination of a number of witnesses and also experts were carried out.

The defendant Mario Dandy Satriyo was charged with Article 355 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary to Article 353 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code and or Article 76c in conjunction with Article 50 paragraph 2 of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code. Meanwhile, the articles imposed on Defendant Shane Lukas are Article 355 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code subsidiary Article 355 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code, and or Article 355 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 56 of the 2nd Criminal Code subsidiary Article 353 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 56 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code, and or Article 76c in conjunction with Article 50 paragraph 2 of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection in conjunction with Article 56 of the 2nd Criminal Code.
