PDIP Secretary General Asks Campaigners To Exemplify Bung Karno

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the PDI-P DPP (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto asked the party's young campaigners to emulate and learn from Bung Karno's intellectual traditions.

"Idenya harus segar, radikrat, mengubah," katanya saat membuka kegiatan Pelatihan Jurkam PDIP tingkat nasional di Sekolah Partai PDIP, di Lenteng Agung, Jakarta, dikutip dari Antara, Sabtu 5 Agustus.

He gave an example of how Soekarno's intellectual skills, who is 26 years old, can already present the idea of forming the Indonesian National Party or PNI.

Hasto advised that young jurkam must be able to learn from countries such as India to China, which have succeeded in developing progress amidst existing shortcomings.

"Being a jurkam is not just a speech skills, but there must be a unity between the mind and the heart," he said.

He said, when trained to become jurkam, cadres must continue to develop themselves by using books as world windows, making the universe of the internet to access important information, how Indonesia can achieve progress in all aspects of life.

Hasto reminded all young party jurkam, to be skilled and continue to hone political communication in winning the hearts of the people

"You are trained not to be a jurkam cans, but a character," he said.

Moreover, he said, young jurkam training participants will be placed in all regions in Indonesia to win PDIP and the prospective presidential candidate (candidate) Ganjar Pranowo.

"Later, many of you will be assigned to the regions so that later Pak Ganjar will come, will accompany his duties to convey effective messages about PDI Perjuangan and Pak Ganjar Pranowo," explained Hasto.

The PDIP DPP held a training for national level party campaigners (jurkam) in facing the 2024 General Election at the PDIP party school, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta, Saturday.

The training took place on 5-6 August 2023. The training was attended by 100 participants. They came from representatives of 32 DPD outside Java totaling 64 people, delegates from the DPD Party on the island of Java as many as 24 people and envoys from the wing and party body 12 people, of which 17 were female cadres.
