The Cianjur Police, West Java, recorded that the death toll from a series of collisions on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan on Wednesday increased to two people. Head of Cianjur Police Traffic Unit, AKP Anaga Budiharso said the victim died on behalf of Nisa (19), a motorcyclist who had undergone treatment at the Cianjur Sayang Hospital. The victim is a motorcycle rider. Previously, the victim on behalf of Fitri (22) died at the scene. "Both women and motorbike riders were hit by a tronton truck loaded with mineral water who were suspected of having failed brakes, causing them to hit a number of vehicles, before falling into the rice fields," he said in Cianjur, Antara, Thursday, August 3. He explained that the victim Nisa had undergone treatment due to serious injuries. The results of the temporary investigation of the accident were suspected to have been caused by a tronton truck that had failed brakes, hitting eight vehicles in front of it. "The truck driver with the initials SRW (41) has been secured at the Cianjur Police Headquarters and is currently still undergoing examination.
