JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has extended the detention period of Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Hasbi Hasan. He will be detained in detention centers until September 9. "The investigative team has extended the detention period of suspect HH for the next 40 days," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Thursday, August 3. This extension of detention was carried out to complete the case file. In addition, investigators are still summoning witnesses whose statements are needed in the bribery case for case management. "The filing of the case continues to be completed by the investigative team while still scheduling the summons of witnesses who are aware of the alleged receipt of money by the suspect," said Ali. As previously reported, Hasbi is now being held at the KPK's Red and White House Detention Center. The detention was carried out because he was caught in an alleged bribery case management in the Supreme Court. In this case, Hasbi is suspected of receiving Rp3 billion of money out of a total of Rp11.2 billion received by former Commissioner of PT Wika Beton, Dadan Tri Yudianto. He was asked to oversee the appeal of the Inti Dana Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) management, Budiman Gandi Suparman. This reception began when the Debtor of the Intidana Heryanto Tanaka Savings and Loans Cooperative, contacted Dadan Tri Yudianto. He intends to take care of the cassation with the defendant Budiman Gandi Suparman at the Supreme Court. Heryanto asked Budiman to be found guilty in the cassation lawsuit. Dadan finally wanted to help on condition that he received the reward in the form of money.

Furthermore, Heryanto and Dadan discussed the arrangement of this cassation lawsuit at Theodorus Yosep Parera's office, which is a lawyer. Dadan at that time called Hasbi Hasan. Finally, there was a handover of money until Heryanto won the cassation lawsuit. Budiman was found guilty and sentenced to 5 years in prison.
