The Directorate of Drug Investigation of the Central Java Police thwarted the shipment of 4 (four) kg of methamphetamine from Kalimantan by a ship passenger to Semarang. Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi said the suspect IYN was arrested when the Dharma Karrika ship carrying him from Kalimantan docked at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang. Disclosure began with information about someone who was ordered to send methamphetamine from Kalimantan by ship. The officer who obtained the information, he said, followed up by arresting the perpetrators when the ship docked at the port. From the search of the perpetrator, four packages of methamphetamine were found in a black bag. IYN itself was ordered by a person with the initials AP to bring the four kg of crystal methamphetamine to Bali. "This perpetrator was promised wages for his wedding expenses," he said in a press release in Semarang, as reported by Antara, Monday, July 31.

For his actions, the perpetrator was charged with Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics.
