Stepfather In Tangerang Allegedly Killed 8-Year-Old Boy After Defecating On The Edge Of Rice Fields

TANGERANG - Police arrested a man with the initials NH (21), a resident of Tinggulung Village, Gunung Kaler, Tangerang Regency. NH is suspected of killing his stepdaughter, MIP (8).

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Tangerang Police, Arief N Yusuf, said the incident occurred on Friday, July 28, at 18.30 WIB.

The alleged murder began when the victim asked for money. The 8-year-old victim also admitted that he wanted to defecate (BAB) to NH, when the perpetrator was raising his baby.

The perpetrator then handed the baby over to his wife, SA. After that, he took the victim to a river not far from home.

"However, after the victim finished the big water money (BAB). NH immediately strangled the victim's neck using both hands until the victim fainted," said Arief when confirmed, Sunday, July 30.

"Seeing that the victim was helpless, NH immediately took him and threw the victim's body on the edge of the rice field," he continued.

A suspicious SA when the victim did not return home after being driven by a defecation decided to look for the edge of the river. However, upon arrival at the location, SA saw that the victim was unconscious.

Spontaneously SA immediately took his son to the nearest clinic. Unfortunately, the victim was declared dead due to strangulation wounds.

"Knowing that his son died, SA immediately reported the incident to the police," he said.

The police, who received the information, immediately moved and conducted an investigation regarding the alleged violence. As a result, the perpetrator was secured at his home.

The perpetrator is currently being held at the Tangerang Police for the purpose of investigating the death of the 8-year-old boy.

"Currently, they are still being questioned by the Tangerang Police Satreskrim investigators," he said.
