Disappointed Family Bripda IDF Was Called Dead Strongly Sick, Police Denies

The National Police claimed to have never informed the family about the cause of the death of Bripda Ignatius Dwi Frisco Sirage, not because he was shot.

Bripda Ignatius Dwi Frisco Sirage's father previously said that the police said that his son died of illness.

"No one of us conveyed such a thing," said the Director of General Criminal Investigation at the West Java Police, Kombes Surawan, to reporters, Friday, July 28.

Regarding the information on the serious illness received by the family, the West Java Police will investigate it.

"Regarding the information received by the family that the victim was seriously ill, we are investigating again," said Surawan.

The old OPrang Bripda IDF, Y Pandi, said that initially the family was not suspicious of the death of their child. The police said that his son was suffering from a serious illness. However, this raises questions.

"From that language I thought, my son was never sick, just being healthy. How come suddenly there is a saying of a strong illness," he said at his residence in Melawi, Wednesday, July 26 night.

This confused the family. So that finally the family speculated that Bripda IDF had an accident. However, at that time, he was also told that Bripda IDF had been treated in the ICU room, which should have been able to receive intensive care.

"But if there is no accident, it is impossible to get to the ICU. At least if the accident broke a leg, a hand. That made us suspicious, so we asked what our child's condition was and why and how he was not given an explanation," he said.

Pandi said that the family only found out the cause of Bripda IDF's death after being asked to come to the Police Hospital. At that time, the core team from the National Police Headquarters told the chronology of the IDF death incident.

"That was after the core team from Headquarters and Densus 88. But the language was not shot. They took a gun from a bag, suddenly a firearm exploded on my child's victim. That was an explanation from the Headquarters and Densus 88 Anti-terror," said Pandi.

He said the family was disappointed with the information about the cause of the death of Bripda IDF which was different from the police. According to him, the police did not provide definite clarity regarding the death of his son.

"Disappointed with the uncertainty of information to me as a parent. It made us wary and kept praying on the way to meet my child. In fact, I hope that my child remains healthy and even sick is not that bad before," he said.

Bripda Ignatius Dwi Frisco Sirage was shot dead by his colleague. The incident occurred at the Police Flat, Bogor, on Sunday, July 23.

In this case, Bripda IMS and Bripka IG were named suspects. In addition, they are considered to have violated the code of ethics. Thus, both were sanctioned with special placement (patsus) in the Propam Division.
