Police Shoot Police Case, Bripda IMS And Bripka IG Patatus Enter Special Cells

The National Police have decided that Bripda IMS and Bripka IG have violated the code of ethics in the police shooting case that killed Bripda Ignatius Dwi Frisco Sirage (IDF). Both were sanctioned by special placements (patsus) in the Propam Division.

"Currently, the two alleged violators have been carried out by special forces at the Provos Bureau of the National Police's Provincial Propam," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Friday, July 28.

In the process of holding the case, a number of work units (Satker) were circulated, such as the Propam Division, Itwasum, Legal Division (Divkum), Human Resources, the Bareskrim Supervision and Investigation Bureau (Wassidik), and Densus 88 Anti-terror.

They stated that the actions of Bripda IMS and Bripka IG had violated Article 13 paragraph 1 of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia Regulation Number 2003, Article 8 letter C, Article 10 paragraph 1 letter F, Article 10 paragraph 6 letters A and B Perpol Number 7 of 2022.

"The results of the case title determined that two suspected violators on behalf of Bripda IM and Bripka IG violated the severe category code of ethics," he said.

Dengan pemberian sanksi patsus bagi keduanya, tidak berarti penanganan kasus sudah selesai. Sebab, kedua polisi ini juga akan diproses secara pidana dan etik Polri.

"Currently, in the criminal process, the police professional code of ethics is also in the process," said Ramadhan.

Meanwhile, Bripda Ignatius Dwi Frisco Sirage was shot dead by a colleague. The incident occurred at the Police Flat, Bogor, on Sunday, July 23.
