Head Of P3A Maluku Provincial Government Commits Sexual Harassment To Subordinates, Police Haven't Named Suspects

The Maluku Regional Police (Polda) will immediately conduct a case for sexual harassment cases by the Head of the Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service (P3A) to his own subordinates.

The Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirkrimum) of the Maluku Police, Kombes Pol. Andri Iskandar, said that all witnesses until the alleged perpetrator had been examined.

"Everything has been checked. So in the next two to three days we will immediately carry out the case title," said Andri, followed by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 25.

He said seven witnesses had been examined, namely the victim, five fellow victims of fellow Civil Servants (PNS) at the P3A Service, and the alleged perpetrator of the P3A Head Office.

"Yesterday the alleged perpetrator had just finished being investigated. He was examined for eight hours, namely from 11.00 WIT - 19.00 WIT," said Andri.

It is known that DP3A employees are suspected of being harassed by their own heads of services. Even the immoral act has been going on for three times in July 2023.

Previously, the Maluku Police Chief confirmed that cases of sexual harassment allegedly committed by the Head of the P3A Service in the province to his subordinates were handled professionally.

Meanwhile, Maluku Provincial Secretary Sadali Le admitted that the Maluku Provincial Government had conducted an examination through the disciplinary enforcement team (TPD) on cases of sexual harassment allegedly committed by the Head of the Maluku Province Women and Children Empowerment Service, DSK, to staff at the service.

The letter was addressed to Maluku Governor Murad Ismail with a copy to the Regional Secretary (Sekda) and the Head of the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD).

In the resignation letter made, he respectfully wants to resign. The decision was taken consciously and without coercion by any party after going through careful consideration.
