Jambi Governor Gives 2 Weeks Of Land Acquisition For Toll Roads In Muaro Jambi

Jambi Governor Al Haris gave the team two weeks to complete and process land acquisition for toll roads in Muaro Jambi Regency regarding public facilities there that must be acquired.

"The Jambi Provincial Government has held a coordination meeting (rakor) for land acquisition for public facilities for the construction of toll roads in the Jambi Province area, and I immediately chaired the meeting, one of which is the team's job to complete land related to public facilities, so that the toll road construction process is no longer hampered," said Al Haris as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 24.

The coordination meeting which was held was explained by Al Haris that it was aimed at discussing obstacles in the construction of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS), including discussing several obstacles in the toll road construction process and several other obstacles in the construction process.

"Currently we are in the process of resolving the obstacles to public facilities, such as the existence of ibtidaiah madrasas, prayer rooms and public cemeteries that must be relocated," he said.

The government gives the team two weeks to carry out the completion process, including how much budget is needed and determining the location of the transfer of public facilities.

Governor Al Haris also wants the process of completing the toll road construction to run smoothly and he hopes that the construction of this toll road will not encounter any problems, all must run on 'clear and clean', so that everyone is comfortable with the construction.

Meanwhile, the Jambi National Road Implementation Center (BPJN) hopes for assistance from the Jambi Provincial Government to resolve problems with public facilities or public facilities.

Fasum related to Supriyadi's land is said to have been brought to the bank, then there is the MIN school building, prayer rooms and public cemeteries (TPU).

Head of Development of Jalan and Jembatan BPJN Jambi Ajahar said that during a coordination meeting with the Jambi Provincial Government to discuss land acquisition for the construction facilities for toll roads, his party revised the land shortage after conducting a marathon discussion in Jakarta.

"We have also evaluated that exit toll still requires the Location (Penlok) II and exit toll not included yesterday in Penlok I for land acquisition," he said.

Ajahar said BPJN urgently needed assistance from the Jambi Provincial Government to immediately issue this Penlok, so that the process in the future could be inventoried and purchased by KJP.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Jambi Province Block Free Road Development Kasatker, Benny, said that in May 2023, the Ministry of PUPR had written to the Jambi Provincial Government regarding requests for additional plunging.

At that time, it was proposed that an additional 65 hectares of land and related to public facilities to be crossed by toll roads, such as land owned by Supriyadi and funerals would be affected by the road, so inevitably they had to wait for their release.
