Don't Just Shout, Alien Mus Asks Bahlil To Contribute To Golkar

JAKARTA - Alien Mus, Chairman of the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) I of the North Maluku Golkar Party, responded to the statement of the Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM, Bahlil Lahadalia, who expressed concern about the electability of the Golkar Party.

Alien Mus invites Bahlil not only to speak without action, but also to actively contribute as a cadre to strengthen the Golkar Party network. He also asked whether Bahlil's membership card (KTA) was still valid because Bahlil was considered inactive in the party so far.

"As far as I know, Mr. Bahlil has not been active for a long time in Golkar. Even if there is a KTA, is it still valid?" asked Alien, Sunday (23/7/2023).

Alien Mus hopes that Bahlil will show his contribution as a cadre of the Golkar Party in real terms, not only through statements in the mass media. He argues that as a party cadre, Bahlil must participate in winning the Golkar Party in the Legislative Election (Pileg) democracy party and the Presidential Election (Pilpres) in 2024.

Previously, Bahlil Lahadalia expressed concern about the electability of the Golkar Party, which he said was experiencing a decline and entering the "kuning" phase in the belief survey ahead of the 2024 General Election.

Alien Mus reminded all Golkar Party cadres to focus on winning the people's votes to win the 2024 election. Including Bahlil, who is expected to help strengthen the structure of the party's network.

"Pak Bahlil as a cadre of the Golkar Party, I hope, can contribute to the victory of the Golkar Party at the Legislative and Presidential Election democratic parties," said Alien in Jakarta.

As a member of Commission IV of the DPR RI, Alien stated that currently the Golkar Party is trying to win public sympathy and support by involving all party cadres. He emphasized that his party remains solid in order to win the 2024 election later.

Alien Mus also responded to Bahlil's signal that he wanted the position of General Chair of the Golkar Party. According to him, if Bahlil's aspiration to become General Chair is correct, Bahlil must be patient and wait for the schedule of the National Conference (Munas) in accordance with the party's constitution. Currently, there is no urgency for the party to hold an Extraordinary National Conference (Munaslub).

Alien added that if Bahlil really wanted to become General Chair, there would be a good time for that, namely in 2024 after winning the election.
