Head of the DKI Jakarta Water Resources Service (SDA) Yusmada Faizal proposed a period of preparation for retirement.

Joko ordered Ika to serve as Acting Head of the Natural Resources Service from July 11, 2023, until a definitive official was appointed or at the latest on October 11, 2023.

For information, currently there are a number of pre-main high leadership positions (JPT) or the vacant echelon II level. This is due to the rotation of positions carried out by the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono while leading Jakarta, as well as retired officials.

Now, there are 10 positions that are being selected openly or auctioned, starting from the Head of the Regional Asset Management Agency; Head of the Legal Bureau of the Regional Secretariat; and Head of the Regional Secretariat Mental and Spiritual Education Bureau.

Then, the Head of the Goods/Services Procurement Service Agency; Head of the Highways Service; Head of the Health Service; Head of the Communication, Informatics and Statistics Office; Head of the Public Housing and Settlement Areas Service; Deputy Head of the Regional Financial Management Agency; and East Jakarta City Secretary.

There are also two other vacancies that have not been carried out in an open selection, namely the Head of the Education Office and the Secretary of the DKI Jakarta Regional House of Representatives (DPRD).
