TANGERANG - Not wanting his motorbike to be taken away by a gang of robbers, Akmal Abdullah (23) and Rian (26) were determined to fight back. Despite successfully defending the motorbike, Akmal and Rian received treatment due to blows and stab wounds. The incident took place in the Parigi area, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang (Tangsel), Tuesday, July 11 at around 22.00 WIB. At that time, Akmal and Rian wanted to buy food. While at the location, the two of them were confronted by a gang of about 20 robbers. Not with their bare hands, these robbers also carried objects suspected of being sharp weapons. Not wanting his motorbike to be taken away just like that, Akmal and Rian fought despite being outnumbered. Both of them were then injured during a duel. Luckily at the time of the incident, there were residents who saw it, so they were immediately helped. The motorcyclist group then left the scene. They failed to seize the victim's motorbike. "Akmal suffered injuries to his face, nose and bruises around his left eye. Meanwhile Rian suffered stab wounds to his hands,” said Gatot Subroto as Akmal's uncle when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, July 16. "Fortunately, someone helped but my nephew (Akmal) was hit by iron on the top of his head for a while when his eyes were blank and then taken to Ichsan Medical Hospital," he said.

Now Akmal and Rian have been allowed to go home. They intend to report the incident to the police, for further action.
