Case Of Woman's Body In Sack, Victim Allegedly Thrown Into Irrigation Channel In Life

KEDIRI - Kediri Resort Police, East Java, traced the victim's belongings, including gold rings, cell phones and motorcycles.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kediri Police, Ipda Dandy Fitra Ramadhan, said that his party was still investigating this case, including the victim's cell phone which had not yet been found.

"For items that were lost at the crime scene from family statements, gold rings, Honda Beat motorcycles, and cell phones," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 10.

Meanwhile, from the autopsy results, the cause of death of the victim was not known to be a blunt object, but a liquid in the victim's lungs.

Initially, when the victim was in a sack, he was still half conscious until then the victim was dumped in an irrigation canal so that water entered and the victim died.

The victim could not rebel, because his hands and feet were tied with the victim's veil.

"The doctor stated that the victim died while being dumped in irrigation. So, while in a sack, from a doctor's statement that the victim was in half-aware condition, died of water entering the lungs, drowning," he said.

In addition to the wounds on the crown, there were also wounds on the wrists and bruises on the hands.

"The wound in the crown is caused by blunt objects, maybe when the position that fell to the ground was the head. We also don't know because we need additional lab tests. It could have been hit before being thrown into irrigation or colliding while in the irrigation canal. If it was in the hands, it might be due to hard ties," he said.

Regarding the alleged time of the murder, Dandy said the victim was found dead on Saturday (8/7) by residents.

When found, the victim's body had started to decay. Allegedly, the victim at the location was dumped, close to the statue of Totok Kerut, Kediri Regency on Wednesday (5/7) night.
