Jokowi To Meet PM Albanese And Governor General Of Australia

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to attend the Annual Leaders Meeting (ALM) series with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at the Taronga Center, Sydney and hold a meeting with Australian Governor-General David

Before meeting with PM Alabanese and Governor General Totaling, President Jokowi will hold a meeting with CEOs of Australian companies on the second day of a working visit to Australia, according to a written statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 4.

After meeting with the CEOs of Australian companies, the President will head to the Admiralty House which is the official residence of the Governor-General of Australia, David banyak. There, the President will attend a series of state welcoming ceremonies by the Governor-General.

Furthermore, the President will hold a brief meeting with the Governor-General of Australia. The series of state visits ended with a joint state lunch.

After a meeting with the Governor-General, the President is scheduled to attend the Annual Leaders Meeting (ALM) with the Australian Prime Minister (PM), Anthony Albanese at the Taronga Center. After that, the President and PM Albanese were also scheduled to visit Sumatra Village located at Taronga Zoo to see the Sumatran tiger.

Activities on the second day will be closed with a dinner between President Jokowi and PM Albanese.

Previously, President Jokowi explained that a number of priority agendas discussed with PM Anthony Albanese were investment and trade as the main topics, as well as fields of health, energy transition, and increased human resources (HR).

"Especially investment and trade because there is a drastic increase in trade and investment from Australia, then in the fields of health, energy transition, and increased human resources", said the President.

President Jokowi and his delegation will be in Sydney for 2 days, July 4 2023.
