JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Prabowo emphasized that he would criminalize all parties involved in cheating in football matches in Indonesia. The goal is to create a competition that is clean and fair. "We will process and of course if in the police the process must be criminal," said Sigit to reporters, Monday, June 26. Currently, the National Police has found indications of fraud in match fixing or match fixing. The Anti-Mafia Ball Task Force has been ordered to investigate the allegation. However, Sigit also asked all parties, either team management or others, to provide information if they know of fraud. Thus, law enforcement will be carried out immediately. "I open the space if there is report information and I think all football lovers agree that in the future the organization of league competition can really be fair because this is what all football lovers expect, so please provide information to us," said Sigit. Adding, PSSI General Chair Erick Thohir said that his party would also give strict sanctions to the match equipment if it was proven to be involved in fraud.

Those caught or proven to be involved in the football mafia will be prohibited from working in the world of football for life. "Of course, the process or punishment in PSSI is different, namely we have agreed that the names of players, referees, owners, administrators including me, if there is a joke, they cannot be involved in football for life," said Erick.
