The North Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit has not named Yulio alias JI (18) as a suspect in the case of beating Bripka RY (39) a member of the North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Police.

"We are holding a (case) whether it needs to be continued with detention or we have other considerations," Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Iverson Manossoh when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, June 15.

The perpetrator Yulio alias JI is still being investigated by North Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim investigators.

"His status is still being investigated at the police station for examination. He has been questioned for 1x24 hours," he said.

Currently, investigators are still collecting a number of other evidence related to the incident.

"We are still collecting evidence, what evidence, evidence, witnesses and others. Later we will determine whether to detain the perpetrator or not," he said.

Previously, a young man with the initials Yulio alias JI (18) who beat a member of the North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Police who was on duty at the Simpang Plumpang intersection, North Jakarta, was finally arrested by the North Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim on Thursday, June 15.

The perpetrator was arrested not far from the location after the beating.

"The perpetrator was arrested moments after the incident at the Plumpang intersection. The perpetrator was arrested under the Plumpang intersection flyover, North Jakarta, moments after he hit a member of the North Jakarta Traffic Unit," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Iverson Manossoh when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, June 15.
