Join PPP, Sandiaga Uno Focuses On Economic Issues

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno revealed that he would focus on economic issues after officially becoming a member of the United Development Party (PPP).

"Alhamdulillah, today I was accepted into the PPP extended family and I will accompany PPP to fight for what I meet in the community, namely wanting future leadership to focus on issues faced by our society, especially in the economic field," said Sandiaga Uno as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 14.

He said that while traveling around Indonesia, development in each region had shown progress. This must be continued and focused on economic leadership thinking.

Because according to him, there are still many people who hope for PPP to develop a community-based economy. Moreover, the current use of technology is increasingly sophisticated, so it must be utilized optimally to advance Islamic finance.

"Because there are still a handful of our people who need our help and my thoughts can get the same struggle from PPP," he explained.

Seeing the common vision and mission with PPP, continued Sandiaga, made him, who had been active for seven months, finally decided to join the party bearing the ka'bah logo.

Not only trying for the people's economy, he plans to empower MSMEs to create jobs.

"Alhamdulillah, the development has scored extraordinary results," he said.

In addition, continued Sandiaga, PPP is also a party that always maintains the prices of basic commodities and controls the welfare of the community so that it continues to improve. According to him, this benefit is expected to bring benefits to the nation and state.

"I feel grateful and hopefully today is the first step that will bring blessings," concluded Sandiaga.

On the other hand, Sandiaga assessed that his joining PPP was not in the context of struggle as a cadre. However, Sandiaga wants to invite him to fight and build Indonesia together.
