President Jokowi Scheduled To Attend Jakarta Fair 2023 Opening

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo is planned to attend the opening of the longest and largest exhibition in the Southeast Asia area, Jakarta Fair 2023, at JI-Expo Kemayoran, on Wednesday (14/6).

Marketing Director JiExpo Kemayoran Ralph Scheunemann said President Jokowi was present accompanied by a number of ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet and Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono.

"The plan is until now, with several cabinet ministers and the Acting Governor of DKI," Ralph said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 13.

Ralph said the opening ceremony for the Jakarta Fair began at 19.00 WIB which was centered on the main stage.

As in previous years, the opening of the Jakarta Fair exhibition was enlivened by fireworks.

As for the Jakarta Fair or the Jakarta Grand Week (PRJ) of Kemayoran, it will be held for 33 days which will be open from June 14 to July 16, 2023 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO) Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

Marketing Director JiExpo Kemayoran Ralph Scheunemann said the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran event this year was attended by 2,500 participating companies consisting of 1,500 booths showing off superior products with discounts or discounts.

"There are 2,500 companies with 1,500 booths, and what is encouraging is that the distribution is approximately 60 percent of the private sector and 40 percent of MSMEs," Ralph said at a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday (7/6).

General Manager of PT JiExpo Oki Setiawan said the price of entrance tickets for the Jakarta Fair did not change.

Since last year, the price of tickets to enter the Jakarta Fair has been divided into two, namely it applies to exhibitions and "bundling" includes tickets to music concerts.

"The cheapest start of IDR 50,000 is 'include' (including) tickets to enter the Jakarta Fair," said Oki.

To anticipate the length of the queue for ticket purchases through the counter, the organizers opened an online ticket purchase option through the official Jakartafair.co.id website and eventguide.id.
