Meeting Sandiaga Uno At The State Palace, Ganjar: I'll Be Late Tomorrow Wearing Green Clothes

Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo joked with the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno who was soon rumored to be joining the United Development Party (PPP).

This moment occurred when the two met at the State Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday, June 13. At that time, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was summoned and attended a meeting related to the Borobudur Temple area.

"Meet (Sandiaga at the Palace, ed)," Ganjar told reporters.

Not much was talked about by the two when they met. However, the presidential candidate who was promoted by PDIP had made a mistake at Sandiaga.

"I'm making it (Sandiaga, ed). Tomorrow I'll wear a green shirt, right," said Ganjar with a laugh.

Ganjar does not want to talk much about candidacy or politics. He only asked all parties to be patient about the candidate for deputy who will run to accompany him in the 2024 presidential election.

"Later be patient, be patient. Let the cooperation between parties be resolved first," said Ganjar.

Sandiaga is said to be announced as a PPP cadre on Wednesday, June 14. This activity will be held around 18.30 WIB.

"Yes, God willing, Pak Sandi will officially join as stated by Acting Ketum Mardiono, Wednesday at 18:30 WIB after sunset," said PPP DPP Chairman Achmad Baidowi alias Awiek at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta.

The joining of Sandiaga was warmly welcomed by PPP because it was believed to be able to boost the party's electoral system. Moreover, the former Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta has been close for a long time and is considering being a PPP cadre.
