Vice President Ma'ruf Amin Invites Indonesian Diaspora To Provide Development Ideas

JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin invited the Indonesian diaspora in Uzbekistan and its surroundings to contribute to providing ideas, innovations, and views on the national development agenda. This was one of the messages of Vice President Ma'ruf when he was a keynote speaker at the Indonesian National Dialogue event which was attended by diaspora from Indonesia in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, on the sidelines of a working visit in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Tuesday, June 13. "I will continue to wait for the ideas, innovations, and views of the Indonesian people in Uzbekistan and its surroundings, to enrich the national policy formulation, as well as part of Indonesia's economic transformation agenda which is inclusive and sustainable," said Vice President Ma'ruf as quoted by Antara. Ma'ruf expressed his joy to be able to meet directly with the Indonesian people in Uzbekistan. He admitted that he wanted to hear various views in supporting various efforts to develop in the country. The Vice President reminded that Indonesia stands with diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds. Despite these differences, said the Vice President, the Indonesian nation is united by the determination to make Indonesia better from time to time. The vice president also conveyed several other messages in strengthening Indonesia's nationality. He asked the Indonesian diaspora to explore positive aspects abroad as provisions to carry Indonesia's improvement. Not only living abroad, but actively being Indonesian ambassadors who build the image, name and existence of Indonesia. The Vice President also encouraged the Indonesian diaspora to continue to maintain harmony, solidarity and harmony among Indonesians abroad. "The 2024 election agenda should not break the national bond, but let's celebrate the election with joy and away from hostility," he said.

In addition, he invited the Indonesian diaspora to continue to choose and sort out the right information, while preventing hoaxes and avoiding violent views and using digital advances to report the correct, kind and polite message.
