Kudus Holds Pilkades Tomorrow, Police Deploy 301 Security Personnel

The Kudus Police have alerted 301 joint personnel to secure the implementation of the Kudus Village Head Election (Pilkades) simultaneously.

"Hundreds of joint personnel were deployed for security at each polling station (TPS), as well as to anticipate the possibility of rioting in the simultaneous Pilkades in three villages," said Kudus Police Chief AKBP Dydit Dwi Susanto during the shift of security forces for the 2023 Simultaneous Pilkades at the Kudus Police, Monday, June 12, confiscated by Antara.

"Members must observe several potentials that will occur, such as the friction between teams of success from each village head candidate," he said.

The three villages that will hold the Pilkades simultaneously on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. The three villages are Golantepus Village, Getasrabi Village, and Janggalan Village.

In order to ensure the security and safety of citizens in using their voting rights without intimidation and intervention from any party, the Kudus Police also formed a special action task force to monitor and anticipate gambling botoh in the Pilkades simultaneously.

"If gambling is found, we will act decisively. Hopefully it will run safely, smoothly, and conducively," he said.
