West Java (Jabar) Regional Police has named a big motorbike rider (moge) with the initials T who grazed a student on Jalan Raya Cihaurbeuti-Ciamis, Ciamis Regency as a suspect.

Dirlantas Polda West Java Kombes Pol Wibowo said, as a result of the accident, a student named Yayat was injured because he fell and had to be rushed to the hospital. "This accident involved two two two-wheeled motorized vehicles, namely a Yamaha Aerox motorcycle with number D 5101 ZDN with one Piaggio Motgozical two-wheeled vehicle with number B 4363 SZI," said Wibowo at the West Java Regional Police, Bandung City, Monday, May 29, confiscated by Antara.

Wibowo explained that the accident occurred on Saturday, May 27 at around 14.00 WIB.

He continued, the Piaggio Motgozical or Moto Guzzi California motorcycle involved in the accident had an engine measuring 1,400 cc so that the motorbike entered the big motorbike category. The big, cream and brown motorbike has been secured at the West Java Regional Police as evidence for the accident case. Wibowo explained that the accident case began when T departed from Jakarta to participate in the activities of the big motorbike community in the Pangandaran area. However, according to him, T is a sympathizer who came without an invitation.

After that, according to him, T made a return trip back to Jakarta on Saturday 27 May. However, he said, on the way he tried to overtake the victim's Aerox-type motorbike. "When he entered the vehicle so that the motorbike and the driver fell, he did not realize that the vehicle that was hit had fallen, and continued the journey," he said. After that, the hit-and-run accident became a topic that was widely discussed after it was spread on social media. Finally, said Wibowo, the suspect turned himself in to the Ciamis Police. "We are still processing the person concerned under Article 310 and Article 312 of the Road Transport Traffic Law, the penalty of three years in prison," said Wibowo.
