The Judicial Commission Immediately Holds An Ethics Session Of The Supreme Court Secretary For Corruption Suspects

The Judicial Commission (KY) immediately held a code of ethics trial against Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Hasbi Hasan after being named a suspect by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"As soon as possible, we are not delaying because there have been many cases, so we have to solve them," said KY Chairman Mukti Fajar Nur Dewata in Padang as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 17.

Mukti said that his party had coordinated with the Supreme Court, including the technical arrangements for the code of ethics trial against the Secretary of the Supreme Court when it would be carried out.

Basically, he said, both the KPK and the Supreme Court opened up to KY to be directly involved in processing the case that ensnared Hasbi Hasan in the alleged corruption case.

On the one hand, the Professor of the Faculty of Law, Muhammadiyah University, Yogyakarta, emphasized that the institution he leads has the authority to handle it because Hasbi Hasan is a judge.

"So this is indeed the authority of KY, that's why the KPK and MA have opened themselves up to carry out investigations," he said.

Separately, the KPK has scheduled the examination of two new suspects in the alleged bribery case handling the case in the Supreme Court.

The KPK reminded the two suspects to be cooperative and present to fulfill the summons of KPK investigators.

"Because this is an opportunity for the suspects to be able to explain directly in front of the investigative team. We also ensure that we provide all the rights of the suspects according to the provisions," he said.
