Indosurya Case Will Soon Be Tried, DPR Asks For Victim Loss To Be Returned

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR Ahmad Sahroni stated that the loss of the victims of the Indosurya Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) must be returned, so that they can feel justice.

The case file for the suspect Henry Surya in the case of forgery of letters and placement of false information in the establishment of KSP Indosurya is complete. So, he will soon undergo trial.

"From the start, we have appealed to the DPR, the main thing that must be focused is the return of the victim's rights, whatever can be saved," Sahroni told reporters, Sunday, May 14.

Then, Sahroni also reminded law enforcers, including judges, to pay attention to justice for the victims of the fraudulent investment. The goal is that the rights of the victims are fulfilled.

"So once again, all officers from various levels must be aware and supervise this, so that justice for customers can be achieved," he said.

Previously, investigators from the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes (Dittipideksus) Bareskrim Polri completed the investigation of Indosurya's new case on behalf of the suspect Henry Surya (HS) by handing over the suspect and evidence to the Public Prosecutor of the Attorney General's Office.

"This afternoon, investigators have carried out the surrender of the suspect on behalf of HS and evidence to the AGO," said the Director of Tipideksus Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan.

As a reminder, Henry Surya was initially acquitted in a case of alleged fraud and embezzlement of KSP Indosurya funds by the West Jakarta District Court.

Henry Surya was found guilty, but his actions were not criminal acts.
