31 Coal Trucks In Jambi Take Action: 9 Tires Are Vulnerable, The Rest Are Fined

JAMBI - The Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) of the Jambi Police together with the Jambi Provincial Transportation Service and Jambi City took action against coal transportation which was still found to have violated the rules.

This action was carried out on a number of roads in Jambi City on Monday 8 May. When the joint team arrived at the location, a number of coal transport trucks were found parked on the shoulder of the road.

Kasubdit Kamsel Ditlantas Polda Jambi Kompol Agung said the Jambi Police had taken action against 31 coal transportation that violated it.

"We have carried out a total of 31 coal transportation, we have lowered the nine trucks and the rest we directed to Talang Gulo Terminal to be ticketed," he said in Jambi, Monday, May 8, which was confiscated by Antara.

Kompol Agung gave ultimatums to coal transportation drivers so that they no longer violate the rules.

Previously, the Jambi Regional Police Ditlantas emphasized that it would also impose sanctions on coal transportation that violate the tonnage rules when crossing the national road.

First, if coal transportation exceeds 11.5 tons of tonnage, vehicles will be ticketed on the spot.

Meanwhile, coal transportation, which exceeds 15 tons of tonnage, will be ticketed and detained by vehicles along with their coal loads.

Even if the tonnage reaches 15.1 tons, his party will still be detained so as to provide a deterrent effect for drivers who still violate the coal loading rules by exceeding the tonnage.

Regarding the rules for coal transportation hours, he reminded transportation drivers to comply with the rules for the convenience of all parties, especially the general public who pass on national roads.
