JAKARTA - Two groups of teenagers were involved in a brawl using firecrackers and a number of sharp weapons on Jalan Cipinang Pulo Maja, North Cipinang Besar, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta. This brawl was recorded on amateur video.

According to Eran, a local resident, brawls between teenagers that have occurred in his area have often occurred for generations. The reason is only a trivial problem, namely mocking each other.

"There have been generations. The cause of mocking each other on social media," Egan told reporters, Thursday, May 4.

In addition, the perpetrators were also equipped with blunt objects such as stones and wooden sticks during the brawl. The perpetrators, on average, were still more than twenty people.

"Others of people, (age) are children of responsibility (ABG youth). They use firecrackers and sharp weapons. The brawl lasted about 30 minutes," he said.

As a result of the incident, residents admitted that they were restless and afraid to become victims of the wrong target. Brawls between groups of teenagers have often occurred.

"Residents are worried about being afraid of being the victim of the wrong target. The (police) should take firm action so there is a deterrent effect for the perpetrators," he said.

In addition, the impact of the brawl also caused damage around the scene. Residents are also worried that their belongings will be damaged due to being hit by stones.

"There were 4 people arrested along with evidence. Hopefully the arrested perpetrators will be prosecuted," he said.
