Report Missing To Police, Father In Pati Turns Out To Be His Son Until He Dies

CENTRAL JAVA - Investigators from the Pati Police have named a father who reported his son missing as a suspect.

The child who was found dead in the Kaliampo River, Wangonrejo Village, Pati, turned out to have died as a result of being smothered by his father's pillow. "The perpetrator dumped the baby by putting the victim in the trunk of a motorbike wrapped in plastic," he said. The father, who is only 20 years old, he said, is suspected to be the trigger for his emotions. However, the suspect's psyche so far is still normal. "It is possible because his father is still young, so his emotions are still unstable and out of control," he said. For his actions, the perpetrator was charged with Article 76 C junto Article 35 paragraph of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection with a threat of 20 years in prison.
