According to him, the burst of the flame comes from the existing drill well which is commonly used for daily operational needs in the rest area of KM 86 B. "Previously, we carried out the installation of the connecting pipe as an effort to increase the capacity of the submersible pump to improve the rest area service of KM 86 B," he said. Since Wednesday (26/4) the fire suppression effort was carried out together with related parties namely the West Java Mineral Energy and Resources Service (ESDM), the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the Subang Fire Department (Damkar), Subang Police, and also assisted by the Pertamina team.
