Police: Cirebon Arterial Line Crowded With Homecoming Vehicles

CIREBON - Head of the Harjamukti Terminal Service Post in Cirebon City, West Java, AKP Muhyidin said, the Cirebon Arterial Line, Wednesday afternoon, was crowded with vehicles leading to Java and Jakarta. "Kendaraan sudah memadati jalur arteri sejak pagi, dan sekarang terus mengalami peningkatan," kata AKP Muhyidin di Cirebon, Antara, Rabu, 19 April. Muhyidin said the Cirebon Arterial Line is one of the busiest routes because all vehicles pass on the route, both from Jakarta and vice versa. For vehicles from Jakarta to Java, he said, two-wheeled vehicles are dominated and on average are travelers who are passing by. Then for the route from Central Java to Jakarta, he said, buses and other large vehicles were dominated after the one-way application on toll roads. "Everything is crowded, but thank God the wheels are still moving so there is no congestion on the arterial route," he said. He added that on Wednesday the flow of traffic on the Cirebon Arterial Line began to increase because it was the first day of collective leave so that many employees returned to their hometowns. "Last time it wasn't as crowded as it is today, now the vehicle has no break, it continues to flow," he said.

From the Cirebon City arterial route to be precise in front of the Harjamukti Terminal, officers continue to make efforts to regulate traffic, considering that the area is an intersection lane so that the vehicle is quite congested and piles up.
