Dewas Study The Report Of The Former KPK Leaders Regarding The Allegation That Firli Bahuri Leaked Corruption Investigation Documents

JAKARTA - The Supervisory Board (Dewas) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will study reports of alleged leaks of investigation documents of alleged corruption at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources by KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri.

This process is a follow-up to reports from former KPK leaders such as Abraham Samad, Bambang Widjojanto to Saut Situmorang with the Civil Society Coalition. The report was made on Monday, April 10 yesterday.

"Yes, it has received (report, ed) and will be studied soon," said KPK Dewas Chairman Tumpak Hatorangan Panggabean to reporters on Tuesday, April 11.

Tumpak has not detailed further steps from the process. However, the KPK Supervisory Board will usually summon related parties in the incoming reports.

The alleged leak of this investigation document was crowded in public after a search at the ESDM Ministry office was carried out on March 27. Based on information circulating, the leaked file contained the suspect's name and the alleged article.

Furthermore, the former KPK leader together with the Civil Society Coalition reported the alleged leaking of documents to the KPK Council. It is suspected that Firli Bahuri played a role in the incident.

In addition, they also plan to report Firli to the police in the near future. This report will be made because the former Deputy for Enforcement of the KPK is considered to have committed a criminal act for leaking classified documents.

"In addition to reporting Firli's brother to the Supervisory Board, we will also report him to law enforcement officials (other than, ed)," said Former KPK leader Abraham Samad while at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, April 10.
