Aya Canina Wants Amigdala To Ask For Permission And Pay Royalties For Her Song

Andari Jamalina Pratami alias Aya Canina revealed her anger at her bandmate in Amigdala.

Not only asking Amiddala personnel at this time to change the name of the band, Aya also asked that his moral rights and economic rights as songwriters be fulfilled.

"When I left (the band), I said please bring my songs, but fulfill my economic rights," said Aya Canina at Pati Unus, South Jakarta on Thursday, September 14.

Nanang Hartanto as Aya Canina's attorney also said that there was no awareness of the Amigdala personnel asking for permission when performing a song by his client.

"Every Amigdala performs, we give a warning letter to EO and realize that they do not pay economic rights. Finally, EO pays it to EAMI," said Nanang Hartanto.

The basis of Aya Canina demands moral rights and economic rights for her songs because she already holds the copyright of six Amigdala songs and has become a member of the Collective Management Institute (LMK) at Wahana Musik Indonesia (WAMI).

"We have recorded six songs to the Minister of Law and Human Rights, and obtained copyright certificates in 2022," said Nanang.

"I myself have entered WAMI membership," said Aya Canina.
