Band DRIVE, which now consists of Axl Ramanda (vocals), Bhusdeq (guitar), Dygo (bass) and Rudy (drums), has re-released the wrong hit song. This time, Let go of you.

This song was originally released in 2008 and briefly dominated the Indonesian music charts at that time.

"At that time on social media, we had a vote if DRIVE re-released old songs, which songs would you choose. And most of those selected were the song Letting go of you, even on YouTube many sent comments with our request to re-release your Release," said Rudy in his statement.

The song Releasemu (New Version) is different from the original version. Both from the singing style, musical arrangements, to the lyrics and notations at the end of the song. One of them is pieces of English lyrics at the end of the song that did not exist in the previous version.

It's not difficult to make a 'new version' of this song, because Axl has made a clear difference with the old version. Also to reaffirm DRIVE's identity, I made a more banded intro, with a magnificent arrangement of strings sections, "explained Bhusdeq.

If there is a phase where DRIVE re-releases, it is certain that the most popular song of all DRIVE songs is the song Let go of you. This song was composed by Bhusdeq in 2008 for the second DRIVE album at that time. The difference is that the song Releases you, which is more powerful but still with pop notation that is pleasing to hear, "added Dygo.

For Axl, the new vocalist, singing a song that has been hit is certainly a challenge in itself. Although this song has been known to many people with old vocalists, Axl's vocals who have a wide range of vocals, make this song no less cool than the previous version.
