About The Trend Of Spectators Who Like To Throw Objects On The Stage, Dave Mustaine: Don't Be Like A Manja Boy

JAKARTA - Megadeth's thrash metal giant, Dave Mustaine commented on the disturbing trend of the audience who often threw objects at artists on stage.

"If people don't touch me, they will throw those objects," Mustaine told Swedish SVT in a recent interview.

"Maybe it changes from rotten tomatoes to dildo; I don't know. But if you give them a good show, they won't do that -- they won't do that. So don't go up there acting like spoiled kids and telling them not to throw those things."

Recently, a number of artists were thrown with many objects when they appeared on the panggung, including Bebe Rexha, whose head was hit by a fan's phone and needed stitches.

Meanwhile, Pink was stunned by a fan throwing his mother's ashes on stage at Hyde Park's BST, and Lil Nas X had to stop the show when a fan threw a sex toy on stage.

Elsewhere, US country-pop artist Kelsea Ballerini was hit in the face by an object thrown at her from the crowd.

A similar incident occurred to Harry Styles, who was hit by a object on his face during his Vienna concert. Other artists affected include Ava Max, Taylor Swift, Lil Uzi Vert, and Drake.

"I don't have to worry about that. Plus my poor vision, I probably won't see anything flying in the air until too late," Mustaine added.

Motorhead was also reported to have stopped a 1991 show in Brisbane, Australia shortly after an incident in which the cans were thrown on stage.
