The Phenomenal Is Thom Yorke's New Single, Jonny Greenwood, And Tom Badminton

JAKARTA - The Smile consisting of Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, and Tom live to release a new song called Bending Hectic. This song is so phenomenal.

Produced by Sam Petts-Davies and the accompaniment of the London Contemporary Orchestra, this single was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London earlier this year.

This song was first won by The Smile during the Montreux Jazz Festival last year.

Although not included in The Smile's next live album, Live at Montreux Jazz Festival (July 2022), this song became a mouth-to-mouth phenomenon among fans and music connoisseurs.

And after a year of waiting, the Hectic Bending was finally released digitally via XL Recordings.

This single marks the first new music from The Smile in 2023 and follows up on their debut album, A Light For Attracting Attention (2022) which was named Best Album by Pitchfork, Uncut, MOJO, Rough Trade, Billboard, New York Times, Concequence, and more.

The band is also starting an extensive tour in North America. Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, and Tomploy started his 16-day tour on June 21st with their first appearance in Mexico City.

After two nights, they then went to the United States and Canada, marking the appearance of The Smile's live debut in every city they played in except New York - where they will again be the main performer of the Forest Hills Stadium on July 7.

After the tour, the band will return to the studio to continue working on new material.
