JAKARTA - Guns N 'Roses guitarist Slash told Yahoo! Entertainment he's working on his second "solo" album.

The follow-up to Slash (2010) was explained by the 57-year-old guitarist having a group of different singers and similar to his first solo album featuring Fergie, Adam Levine, Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Grohl, Lemmy Kilmister, Chris Cornell, Nicole Scherzinger and other vocalists.

However, his album this time is more blues-oriented.

According to Slash, the album, which is planned to arrive in 2024, will feature pop star Demi Lovato.

"There's not much more to tell you right now, but [Lovato and I] definitely recorded something," he said.

In addition to their collaboration for Slash's next solo album, the GN'R guitarist is a guest star in the rock version of the 2017 song Lovato, Sorry Not Sorry, which will appear on the upcoming Lovato album, Revamped.

"I told him (Lovato), Hey, if you need me to play something with the guitar, tell me and I will," Slash said.

"So he contacted me back about two weeks, three weeks later, and said he got this song that he was remaking and asked if I would play the guitar for the song," continued the mill-haired guitarist.

"Guns N 'Roses has a show schedule in Norway and I have a day off, so I found a cool engineer and studio in Norway and recorded a guitar there. It's amazing how quickly the song is done".

Slash added that the two songs sound "very different" from each other. "So it's interesting how diverse the voices are," he said.

Meanwhile, although Slash's upcoming album will be second under the banner "Slash", he has released several albums with his old band Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators.
