BMW Series-7 Ready To Be Sent To Customers In Indonesia This Month

Entering the Indonesian market last June, BMW Series-7 and i7 received warm welcomes from various circles. Not only offering sophisticated features, this limousine-style sedan also emits luxury different from its competitors.

BMW Astra, as the official distributor of BMW cars, has ensured the availability of units of these two models since its launch on the country's market. This means that potential buyers don't have to wait too long to get their newest car.

"Both series-7 and i7 which were launched a few months ago, the shipment began in October," said Sanfrantis Tanu, BMW Astra's Chief Executive, in an interview with VOI, some time ago in Jakarta.

Sanfrantis emphasizes that enthusiasm for these models is very high, especially for i7 which is one of the electric vehicle models available in Indonesia. The recent use of this model in the Summit has increased demand for this vehicle.

"We cannot specifically mention the amount, but the response is quite large. Especially after i7 was used at the summit some time ago. This has raised public interest," added Sanfrantis.

In Indonesia, BMW offers two variants for the latest model 'THE 7', namely BMW 735i M Sport and BMW i7 xDrive60 Gran Lusso. Although both have different driving systems, both retain the hallmark of luxury from Series-7.

The 735i M Sport variant is equipped with 48V millid-hybrid (MHEV) technology, using a 6-cylinder engine with a capacity of 2,998 cc with BMW TwinPower Turbo Technology. With this hybrid mid technology, this car is capable of generating 286 dk of power and 425 Nm of torque with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/hour in just 6.7 seconds.

While the BMW i7 xDrive60 Gran Lusso variant is equipped with a double electric motor at the front and rear, producing a combined power of 544 dk and a torque of 745 Nm. These two electric motors allow i7 xDrive60 to reach speeds of 0 to 100 km/hour in a time of 4.7 seconds.

In addition to outstanding performance, i7 xDrive60 Gran Lusso also has the largest battery with a capacity of 101.7 kWh which allows a range of up to 625 km with a single charge.

The most advanced variant of Series-7 is also equipped with BMW's eDrive technology that allows cars to charge from 10 to 80 percent in 34 minutes via DC's 195 kW fast charging.

Available in six different color choices, the BMW 735i M Sport is priced at IDR 2.287 billion Off The Road Jakarta. While the i7 xDrive60 Gran Lusso is sold at a price of IDR 3.4 billion Off The Road Jakarta. This electric sedan comes in the color variants of Saphire Black, Oxide Gray, Dravit Gray, Adventure Red, and Tanzanite Blue.
