More Than 2,000 Units Have Been Ordered Since GIASS And Dominated By Hybrid Variants, The Latest Honda CR-V Is Ready To Send

JAKARTA - The All-New CR-V was launched at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). It didn't take long for this Premium Honda SUV to get a positive response, being one of the models with the most sales in recent times.

To date, Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) has recorded orders for more than 2,000 units. HPM has also sent a number of CR-V units to several dealers throughout Indonesia.

Interestingly, the sixth generation of CR-V sales were of the hybrid type. Honda noted that the RS e: HEV variant contributed as much as 70 percent of the total ordering of this model.

"Currently the car is ready to be sent to the dealers, and we focus on immediately meeting all consumer requests," said Yusak Billy, as Sales, Marketing, and Aftersales Director of PT HPM, in a statement received by VOI, Friday, October 6.

Carrying the theme "Ahead in Perfection", the sixth generation CR-V comes as a premium SUV in Indonesia featuring an elegant and luxurious design. Not only that, this SUV has the convenience of driving with more impressive performance than before.

The All-New Honda CR-V comes with two heart runway options, namely a 1.5 liter gasoline engine and a 2.0 liter gasoline engine equipped with a Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) system.

The initial variant of Honda CR-V 2024 is equipped with a 1.5 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, which produces up to 187 dk of power and 243 Nm of torque. This variant is available with a two-wheel drive system (2WD) and all wheels (AWD).

Meanwhile, for the hybrid variant, the Honda CR-V e: HEV RS has a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder Atkinson Cycle DOHC in collaboration with two electric motors, generating up to 204 dk of power and 335 Nm of torque and 1.06 kWh of lithium-ion battery.

For systems e: HEV, All-New CR-V can run in three driving modes, namely EV Mode, Hybrid Mode, and Engine mode which will automatically change according to road conditions, driving, engine load, and driving.

Honda Sensing technology is also presented to meet the needs of customers, consisting of the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow (ACC with LSF), Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW), Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) and Auto High Beam (AHB).

The All-New CR-V is also equipped with eight airbags on the front, side, and bottom for the knee to avoid the risk of injury and death in the event of an accident. The latest CR-V also has Active Cornering Light which helps users see objects up front as they turn.

The price for this SUV depends on the variant offered. For type 1.5 L turbo, it costs IDR 739.9 million (OTR Jakarta). Meanwhile, for type 2.0 L or All New CR-V Hybrid, the price is IDR 804.9 million (OTR Jakarta).
