JAKARTA - Fisker Inc, an electric car manufacturer from the United States, stepped up confidently in the automotive industry, proving it by showing off four flagship models at a recent US Product Vision event. Among its luxury models, Fisker Pear appeared, an affordable hatchback that managed to steal the attention of automotive lovers.

The name "Fisker Peak" stands for "Personal Electric Automotive Revolution," Fisker Inc CEO and Founder Henrik Fisker, explained that the car is designed for the younger generation living in a big city, which requires high mobility at affordable prices.

"We created this vehicle with the ideas needed by the younger generation living in big cities, namely innovative, versatile, and affordable mobility," Fisker said in a company release, Thursday, August 31.

Fisker Peak carries the concept of the latest lightweight steel body which reduces the number of spare parts by 35 percent. With a length of 4,550 mm, Pear is a more compact choice compared to the larger Fisker Ocean. Another advantage is the uniquewakit, which allows users to unload goods safely and avoid damage to low-sky parking structures.

On the inside, Pear offers a Lounge Mode feature that allows all chairs to be folded evenly, creating a casual space to watch movies and rest. The 17.1-inch rotating optional entertainment screen is also one of the interesting features in this mode.

Fisker Peak will be available in two battery variants, with a range of up to 160 km to 241 km for the first variant and more than 482 km for the second variant in one charge. Powered by an electric motor, this car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/hour in about 6.3 seconds. Available with rear wheels and all wheels.

The affordable price of Fisker Pear starts at 29,900 US dollars or around Rp454.9 million, making it an attractive choice for those looking to experience electric cars with world-class. Estimated production and delivery will begin in July 2025.
