High Interest, Ordering All New Honda Civic Type R Postponed Until 2024

JAKARTA - Since its launch in Indonesia, All New Civic Type R, which has performed above the average Civic model, has been positively welcomed by the public and its fans are now booming.

With the high demand for All New Civic Type R, PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM), as the distributor of Honda vehicles in Indonesia, said that it had postponed the order for this model and could only reopen in July 2024.

HPM claims to have received orders totaling 114 units of All New Civic Type R. This number exceeds the initial target set by Honda Indonesia as many as 100 units.

"We are forced to temporarily close the order number for the 2023 framework. We will reopen later in July for the 2024 frame number," said Yusak Billy, as Sales Marketing & Business Innovation of PT HPM, quoted from ANTARA, Tuesday, May 30.

With this figure, the latest All New Civic Type R almost passed sales of the previous generation, namely the 2017 Civic Type R with 118 sales in 2017 to 2022.

This high-performance Civic is equipped with a 2.0 liter VTEC Turbo engine which can power 314 dk and 420 Nm torque. This figure is much larger when compared to the previous generation, namely with a power of 305 dk.

In addition to offering high performance, All New Civic Type R is equipped with several new technologies, such as the LogR feature as a driving guide that can be arranged and serves to accurately record driver times.

In addition, Honda embeds several features on the All New Civic Type R, namely Individual Mode, which can regulate engine performance, as well as safety features such as Honda SENSING.

All New Civic Type R has several color options, namely the Championship White, Rallye Red, Crystal Black Pearl, Sonic Gray Pearl and its newest color Racing Blue Pearl for the Indonesian market.
