Examined By Voluntary, First G-Dragon Drug Test Results Negative

JAKARTA - G-Dragon underwent drug tests in accordance with the agreement with the Incheon police. He was present at the police station to follow the investigation for four hours.

Launching Xsportsnews, G-Dragon submitted hair and urine samples for examination by Forensic National Services. As a result, the BIGBANG leader tested negative for drugs.

"The results are negative. I also asked for a thorough examination," said G-Dragon on Monday, November 6.

"I hope the investigator can release the accurate results as soon as possible," he continued.

G-Dragon admitted that he did not hand over his phone but he was willing to give the item if requested by the authorities. The rest, he is also committed to being cooperative in following the series of examinations.

"I haven't (submitted it) yet, but if it is needed in the future, I have already said that I am willing to give it," said G-Dragon.

The singer named Kwon Ji Yong emphasized that this examination was carried out not because the police were after him but based on someone's statement. He will not cover up anything and try to follow the rules.

"I don't think (my examination) was without reason. The police didn't chase after me but they did their job based on someone's words. I think I'm also here to refuse or say prove that the allegations are not proven," he explained.

"I hope the results are fair and hopefully unclear claims can be conveyed," he said.

On October 25, G-Dragon was reportedly questioned by the police for drug cases. His attorney denied the news.

Five days later, G-Dragon voluntarily stated its presence at the Incheon Police for an examination scheduled for November 6. The examination runs for four hours and G-Dragon comes with his attorney.
